It’s spotting an opening in the market. And feeling the need to do something with it.
That drive has taken me to Paris, Madrid, Santiago de Chile, São Paulo, Boston, New York and San Francisco, where I am now.
It’s tough, though: being an itinerant founder. A startup nomad. A wandering entrepreneur. Every new place you get to, you have to build a new network, understand a new market and landscape, navigate new regulations and bureaucracies… all of this while running and building a business from the ground up. It’s really tough. But if you’ve got the drive for it, you don’t want anything else.
And besides, along the way, I got to coach and mentor dozens of incredibly special people. People that I can call friends nowadays. And that has made it all so worthwhile. Believe me.
