I was responsible for YouTube's personalization, which means the video and channel recommendations and user modelling. So I led the change on YouTube’s homepage to center around video recommendations instead of your subscriptions in reverse chronological order. That change supercharged YouTube’s growth.
I would later repeat the same successful strategy at Google Play with games and app recommendations throughout the Play Store.
In 2011, I created one of the first successful AI products with fast growth adoption and multiple acquisition offers. Clever Sense was the first acquisition by Google in a series of AI-technology acquisitions in the "race for AI". I was lucky enough to be riding the first wave of the AI early on, and proud of being selected to co-chair the research conference at Google for Machine Learning when working in the Google AI research group on conversational recommendations.
Now I’m running a conversational intelligence AI company. I founded it because I believe that human communication is the driver of all meaningful relationships, both professional and personal. And we can make you a better seller, co-worker, parent, manager, friend, by helping you to communicate better, harnessing the power of Conversational AI.
