I put my Computer Science degree to use and started what turned out to be an incredible learning experience building a constructions management software amongst other solutions. It goes to show that making your own road, and persevering as you go, pays off.

I’ve had some incredible experiences since, experiences that forced me to grow personally and professionally, like the tough cultural challenge of leading a multi-million fund raising process for a China-based company. But it was successfully completed and backed by a growth fund in Asia and feeling like I’d overcome a huge hurdle was exhilarating.

Recently: we were frustrated by how hard it was to find great data in some of the regions where we operated. So, we saw an opportunity to tackle, an opening to take and that’s all we needed to set off in its pursuit.
