Currently a professor of Physical Chemistry at NOVA University, I have published a number of scientific papers, as well as being the inventor of 6 patents.
My research interests are focused on applications of Supercritical Carbon Dioxide and Ionic Liquids to separations and chemical reaction, namely, in recent times, to Carbon Dioxide chemical and electrochemical reduction to fuels.
MY academic background and interests led me to found Zeyton Nutraceuticals, a company developing an extraction process of hydroxytyrosol from olive oil.
